Violin Classes

Violin is known to be the toughest and at the same time the most emotionally stimulating music instrument to master. The deep emotional voice the violin produces gives is a direct doorway to the listener’s heart. Our highly professional and qualified teachers can help you in fulfilling your goals by being there to mentor you at each step during the violin lessons. They will teach you the music theories, the sight-reading and inspire you to be passionate about this amazing instrument.

As a beginner taking violin lessons, students will learn beginner note reading, beginner violin rhythm and technique. Once a solid technical foundation has been built, we then explore the different violin genres available to a violin player like contemporary, classical, musical theatre, jazz, etc.Students will be able to learn more notes, rhythms and songs in few violin lessons and will learn how to vary the sounds on the violin. Students will find the beginner stage of the violin fun, just like learning a new language and full of stories on how their improvement is related to lots of practice and structured homework.

Electronic Keyboard

The course aims at providing a strong foundation where learning is a process of constant discovery. The course will lay the foundation for acquiring clarity of concepts of Steady Beat, Rhythm, Tempo, Pitch, Volume and Note Values building the foundation of any music student, who wants to learn any instrument. The student develops listening, reading & playing skills with an exploratory outlook in addition to acquiring knowledge. This course is designed for absolute beginner in music, who can definitely become a good listener and nurture the joy of music.

Digital Piano

Learning to play the Piano is largely a process of committing skills to instinct, of developing the necessary motor skills or what is sometimes known as “finger memory”. And only way to achieve this by practicing – repeating the same thing over and over until it becomes automatic!

The Sitar

When we talk about the Sitar, it belongs to the music family of “LUTE”. The Lute family comprises the plucked strings musical instruments. The Lute family has musical instruments like the sitar, bass guitar, banjo,mandolin and others. Sitar is mostly a part of Indian and Carnatic Classical Music. The term sitar has originated from two terms. The first term is the Persian word “SEHTAR” which means “three strings”. The second term is the Hindi term “SAT-TAR” which means “seven strings”.

The Veena

When we talk about the Veena, it belongs to the Indian Classical Music. It has 2 basic types which are used in 2 different sects of music. The Rudra Veena which belongs to the ZITHER family is mostly played in Hindustani Classical Music. The Saraswati Veena that belongs to the LUTE family is mostly used in Carnatic Music.  The “Veena”, a complete instrument which is one of the most ancient south Indian instruments, earlier called as “Yazh”. The instrument has gone through several changes and the origin can be traced back to the age of Raghunath Nayak, 17th Century from Tanjavur.

The Instrument provides a melodic and rhythmic feature making the India raga more expressive and popular. Its main attraction is the ‘Nadham’ or the ‘tone’ which creates a positive energy.

Tabla

The tabla is the most commonly played drum set in North Indian music. It is the instrument most frequently used to accompany vocal and instrumental music, and dance; The tabla takes its name from the tabl of Arabic origin. The general meaning of the term tabl is an instrument facing upwards, with a flat surface The tabla consists of two drums, the bayan or the left drum and the dayan or the right drum, but the collective name for both the drums is tabla.

Mridangam

The classical drum of South Indian music is the mridangam. This is an indispensable accompaniment in the concerts of both the vocal and instrumental music in south India. It is also known by the name of maddal or maddalam.
